“Code 95” – initial professional qualification or periodic training for the improvement of qualifications for the carriage of goods and/or passengers. The number “95” with the corresponding date is entered on the driving licence next to the corresponding category acquired (C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, DE).
Category C (from 21 years old) includes vehicles that are not classified as D1 or D categories and have a maximum authorized mass exceeding 3,500 kg, designed to carry no more than eight passengers, excluding the driver. Vehicles in this category can be coupled with trailers with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg. Category C is also available to individuals aged 18 who have acquired the initial professional qualification for transporting goods (Code 95) in accordance with the established procedure.
Category CE (from 21 years old) includes combinations of category C vehicles and trailers with a maximum authorized mass exceeding 750 kg. The CE category grants the right to drive vehicles in category DE for drivers who are authorized to operate vehicles in category D.
